Timothy Elliott Allen Dies in Greensboro, NC train-pedestrians crash

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP)— Authorities have released the identity of the man who tragically lost his life after being struck by a train in Greensboro on Sunday morning.

At approximately 10:42 a.m., police responded to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a train in the 2000 block of East Market Street, situated behind a commercial property. The Greensboro Fire Department, along with Guilford County EMS, also arrived at the scene to assist.

 

At the site, first responders discovered that Timothy Elliott Allen, 63, from Greensboro, had been fatally injured in the incident. Investigators have stated that there are no indications of foul play, and the investigation is still in progress.
