Fatal Antioch, Contra Costa County shooting deaths of Antonio Drake and Deantray Reed – Obituary
Two men tragically lost their lives in a shooting on Saturday night at the Delta Bowl parking lot in Antioch.
The victims have been identified by the Contra Costa County Coroner’s Office as 34-year-old Antonio Drake of Antioch and 35-year-old Deantray Reed of Oakley.
The shooting occurred around 10:36 p.m. in the parking lot located on Delta Fair Boulevard. According to the owner of the bowling alley, the incident began after a conflict between two groups of bowlers.
One group attempted to leave the establishment but was followed by a member of the opposing group, leading to an exchange of gunfire. The details of who fired the shots remain unclear.
This double homicide marks the 15th and 16th killings in Antioch for the year 2024.
