Brandon R. Evans dies in fatal Paris Township car crash

Fatal Paris Township car crash death of Brandon R. Evans – Obituary

Brandon R. Evans, 42, of Malvern, lost his life in a single-vehicle accident on Friday evening that authorities believe may have involved alcohol.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Evans was driving a 2016 Chevy Silverado eastbound on state Route 172 near milepost 30 at approximately 6:37 p.m. when his vehicle veered off the road. The truck struck a traffic sign and a culvert, overturned multiple times, and collided with several trees. Evans, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Emergency assistance was provided by Minerva Fire & EMS, Sandy Creek Joint Fire District, the Stark County Coroner’s Office, and Keith’s Towing. Investigators are continuing to review the incident.
