Christopher Lynn Pilgreen dies in fatal Liberty, Texas, shooting
Fatal Liberty shooting death of Christopher Lynn Pilgreen – Obituary.
Christopher Lynn Pilgreen, 37, of Hull, Texas, was found dead late Thursday night outside Outlaw Jacks bar on Beaumont Avenue in Liberty. Authorities responded to a 911 call just before midnight on December 12, discovering Pilgreen lying face down on the concrete outside the bar. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Liberty Police Department launched an investigation, initially seeking public assistance to identify two persons of interest captured in surveillance footage. By Friday night, December 13, investigators had secured arrest warrants in connection with the case.
Christopher Jamal Wickliff has been charged with murder, a first-degree felony, under a warrant issued by Judge Chap Cain of the 253rd District Court. A separate warrant was issued for Crystal Nicole Salinas for failing to report a felony.
