Fatal Winston-Salem shooting death of Emanuel Bacilio – Obituary
Winston-Salem police report that two people were shot on December 12, 2024, at around noon, one of whom, 31-year-old Emanuel Bacilio, tragically passed away at the scene. Authorities arrived on Yarbrough Avenue, located in the 3600 block, to find two victims with gunshot wounds. While one of the victims sustained injuries that were not life-threatening, Bacilio did not survive.
According to investigators, Bacilio had been at a residence on Bainbridge Drive when three unidentified men approached him. The suspects, described as wearing dark clothing, reportedly abducted Bacilio and transported him to Yarbrough Avenue where he was found dead.
Police are asking the public for help with the ongoing investigation, particularly from those with home security cameras in the Bainbridge Drive area. Anyone with footage from 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. on Thursday is encouraged to share it with the Winston-Salem Police Department (WSPD).
