Fatal Morvant roadside death of Kareem Baptiste – Obituary
Police are investigating the murder of Kareem Baptiste, also known as Scooby, a resident of Field Trace, Diego Martin. His body was discovered yesterday morning along the Lady Young Road in Morvant.
Emergency responders and officers arrived at the scene around 6:30 am after reports of a man’s body being found. Both his hands and feet were bound with rope. Authorities believe Baptiste was killed earlier that morning and that his body was dumped from a vehicle along the roadside.
Investigators have not yet identified a motive for the killing and continue to search for leads in the case.
