Fatal Lynnville crash death of Kevin Aker – Obituary
Kevin Aker, 68, of Newburgh, tragically lost his life Thursday evening in a head-on collision on State Road 68 in Lynnville.
The crash occurred around 5:19 p.m. when a westbound driver crossed the center line, striking Aker’s vehicle. The westbound driver later told authorities he had been fatigued and possibly fell asleep at the wheel.
Aker was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other driver and a passenger in Aker’s vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to the hospital. The incident is under investigation by the Warrick County Sheriff’s Office.
