Fatal Pleasantville pedestrian accident death of Lashera Miller – Obituary
On December 4, a tragic pedestrian accident occurred in Pleasantville when 36-year-old Lashera Miller was struck by a vehicle while crossing the West Black Horse Pike at South Main Street.
The driver, 33-year-old Erlin Iriaszapata from Atlantic City, was traveling east when he hit Miller as she walked south across the intersection around 6 p.m.
Iriaszapata did not stop immediately but later returned to the scene and contacted officers.
The investigation, with the help of the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, is ongoing. Police withheld the release of Miller’s name until her next of kin were notified.
