Fatal Brownsville pedestrian crash death of Maria Magdelena Richardson – Obituary
Sixty-eight-year-old Maria Magdelena Richardson was struck by a vehicle while walking on the 200-block of Old Port Isabel Road in Brownsville on Wednesday evening around 6:30 p.m. Richardson was rushed to the hospital but later succumbed to her injuries.
The driver remained at the scene and fully cooperated with authorities. Police do not believe the driver was at fault, and no charges are expected to be filed as the investigation continues.
