Mark Beyersdorfer, 68, was found dead after a two-alarm fire engulfed his home on School Street in Plainville on Friday afternoon. Firefighters discovered Beyersdorfer inside the residence, which was fully consumed by flames. Due to his use of a wheelchair, Beyersdorfer was unable to escape the fire.
The blaze was reported around 3:08 p.m. and was quickly extinguished by the responding firefighters. Authorities confirmed that no one else was injured in the incident.
