Fatal Rosemead pedestrian crash death of Michael Anthony Lorusso – Obituary
Michael Anthony Lorusso, 77, of Rosemead, tragically lost his life after being struck by a vehicle while walking on Highway 99 near Highway 166 on December 6, 2024.
The collision occurred around 6:10 a.m. when a southbound 2021 GMC Yukon, traveling at approximately 75 miles per hour, struck Lorusso, who was walking within the traffic lanes.
Despite the driver’s efforts to avoid the crash, Lorusso was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the GMC cooperated fully with law enforcement during the investigation.
