Fatal Westcliff pedestrian accident death of Anna-Marie Stevens – Obituary
Anna-Marie Stevens, 52, tragically passed away following a collision on Hamlet Court Road in Westcliff on December 12, 2024.
At approximately 5:30 p.m., Stevens and her 23-year-old daughter were struck by a black Suzuki Splash at the junction of Hamlet Court Road and St John’s Road. Stevens was rushed to the hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries, while her daughter, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries, was also hospitalized.
The driver, a 31-year-old woman, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. She remains in custody for further questioning as investigations continue.
