Fatal Morgan County car crash death of David C. Acuff – Obituary
David C. Acuff, 40, from Hanceville, lost his life in a single-vehicle accident in Morgan County on Saturday evening.
Authorities reported that the crash occurred around 5:09 p.m. on Union Hill Church Road, near Pitts Road. A 2008 Chevrolet AVEO5 veered off the road, striking a mailbox and a culvert before overturning.
Acuff, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the car and died at the scene, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA).
The ALEA Highway Patrol Division continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
