Fatal Tilden Township shooting death of Dawson Mohl – Obituary.
A 24-year-old man from Leesport, Dawson Mohl, lost his life in a shooting early Saturday morning at a home on Hex Highway in Tilden Township, Pennsylvania.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police Hamburg Crime Unit, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1300 block of Hex Highway around 12:18 a.m. on December 14 after reports of a gunshot victim.
Troopers discovered Mohl inside the home and attempted to administer life-saving measures, but he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A search warrant was executed at the property, and evidence was collected. Authorities have labeled the incident as a case of negligent homicide. Further information regarding the events leading to the shooting has not yet been made available as the investigation is still ongoing.
