Fatal Edmonton domestic violence case claims the life of Frederick Appiah Danso – Obituary.
Frederick Appiah Danso, 44, was fatally injured in a suspected domestic violence incident in Edmonton. Police responded to a home near 106 Avenue and 95 Street on December 7, after paramedics attending to a medical call discovered Danso deceased with injuries consistent with an assault.
Homicide detectives were called to the scene, and the death was later ruled a homicide based on the “totality of the circumstances,” though an initial autopsy was inconclusive. Authorities confirmed that Danso and the accused, 30-year-old Abok Madood, were known to each other.
Madood has been charged with second-degree murder and is currently in custody. Police have assured the public that there are no ongoing safety concerns as investigations continue.
