Fatal Marion County car crash death of Alicia Warwick – Obituary
Alicia Warwick, 38, of Peabody, Kansas, tragically lost her life in a two-vehicle crash Saturday night in Marion County. The accident occurred at 9:50 p.m. on U.S. Highway 56 at the Kansas Highway 15 junction, approximately seven miles west of Hillsboro.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Warwick was driving a 2005 Toyota Camry north on Kansas Highway 15 when she failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with the trailer of an eastbound semi-truck. Warwick was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two 14-year-old boys who were passengers in Warwick’s car sustained serious injuries and were transported to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita for treatment. The 34-year-old driver of the semi, a Texas resident, was not injured in the collision.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
