Fatal McHenry train collision death of Charles M. Ladner – Obituary

Authorities from the Stone County Sheriff’s Department have confirmed that a deadly collision occurred on Friday afternoon in McHenry, Mississippi, involving a pickup truck and a train. The crash happened at the railroad crossing on W McHenry Road near Highway 49.

The victim, identified as 30-year-old Charles M. Ladner, was driving the pickup truck at the time of the accident. Stone County Coroner Wayne Flurry reported that Ladner was pronounced dead shortly after the crash.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation as officials work to determine what led to the fatal incident.
