Fatal Franklin County car crash death of Dru N. Feeley – Obituary
A 21-year-old Maryland man, Dru N. Feeley of Hagerstown, lost his life in a tragic two-vehicle accident on Interstate 81 early Sunday morning in Antrim Township.
Pennsylvania State Police reported that the crash occurred around 3:30 a.m. near mile marker 6.9. Feeley was driving a 2005 Dodge Neon in the left lane when he collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer. The truck had moved from the right to the left lane to avoid a vehicle stopped on the right shoulder.
The collision’s force ejected Feeley from his car onto the roadway. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities revealed that Feeley was not wearing a seatbelt at the time, and the vehicle had been traveling at high speeds, sustaining significant damage in the crash.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was unharmed.
