Fatal Laurens County shooting death of Quienzavius Terrell Rogers – Obituary.
Authorities are investigating the death of 32-year-old Quienzavius Terrell Rogers, who was fatally shot on Friday night, December 13, 2024, in Laurens County, South Carolina. Deputies from the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office, along with emergency medical services and SLED, responded to a shooting at a home on Cow Trail at approximately 10:50 p.m.
Rogers was found deceased at the scene with a single gunshot wound to the side of his neck. An autopsy confirmed the cause of death as homicide.
Over the weekend, a search ensued for 38-year-old Terrence Jerrell Williams, who was identified as the suspect. Authorities described Williams as 5’11” and weighing 220 pounds, and he was considered armed and dangerous. On Saturday evening, Williams was taken into custody.
The case remains under investigation by the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office and SLED.
