Fatal New Orleans shooting death of Adam Brown – Obituary
Adam Brown, a Cox employee, was shot on the afternoon of December 16, 2024, in New Orleans East and later died at the hospital.
The shooting occurred around 12:27 p.m. in the 8000 block of Dwyer Road. Brown was found with gunshot wounds and was transported to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The New Orleans Police Department is now investigating the shooting as a homicide. Details about the circumstances leading up to the shooting have not been released by either Cox or the NOPD. Cox issued a statement expressing sadness over the incident and confirmed that they are cooperating with law enforcement officials.
