Fatal Birmingham crash death of April Marie Lindsey – Obituary
April Marie Lindsey, 52, has been identified as the woman killed in a fiery crash on I-59 South in Birmingham on December 17, 2024.
The incident occurred between 4th Avenue South and 1st Avenue North, where Lindsey was involved in a multi-vehicle collision. She was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene around 7:04 a.m., according to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.
The crash resulted in the closure of the interstate for more than two hours. The Birmingham Police Department is currently investigating the cause of the crash.
