On December 17, 2024, police responded to a report of a murder in the Malangeni area, where they discovered the body of a 25-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds and a broken knife next to her. Authorities believe the woman, who was Lawrence’s girlfriend, was killed during a domestic altercation.
Lawrence’s vehicle, found abandoned nearby with bloodstains, prompted a manhunt. The following morning, police discovered Lawrence’s body hanging from a tree, believed to be a suicide.
