Fatal Scarborough shooting death of Adam Christopher Moncrieffe – Obituary

A 34-year-old man from Toronto, identified as Adam Christopher Moncrieffe, was fatally shot in Scarborough on Thursday. The shooting occurred shortly after midnight in the Eglinton Avenue East and Markham Road area. Police responded to reports of the incident, finding Moncrieffe, and attempted lifesaving measures before transporting him to the hospital. He later died from his injuries.

 

Authorities believe Moncrieffe was walking in the area when he was shot by suspects traveling in a vehicle. This marks the 83rd homicide in Toronto for the year. The Toronto Police homicide unit is investigating, and anyone with information is urged to contact authorities or Crime Stoppers.
