Linda Mae Cox, 79, of Piedmont, South Carolina, tragically passed away following a vehicle rollover on River Road. The accident occurred as Cox was driving southeast, reportedly losing control of her vehicle.
She traveled off the road, striking several trees and an embankment. Cox, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was headed home at the time of the crash, which took place about two miles from her residence. The incident is under investigation by the Anderson County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
