Mark Anthony Brecht, 42, of Center Point, Iowa, tragically died following a crash on Thursday, December 19, 2024. The incident occurred just before 3 p.m. on Franklin Street, south of Maiden Street, when Brecht’s gray Toyota truck veered off the road and crashed into trees.
First responders found Brecht unresponsive and rushed him to the hospital, where he later passed away. Authorities reported that he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident, and the crash remains under investigation.
