Fatal Chatsworth crash death of Thomas J. Stadler – Obituary
Thomas J. Stadler, 57, of Chatsworth, tragically passed away following a crash on Wednesday, December 19, 2024. The incident occurred at around 8:30 a.m. on 3350 East Road near 700 North Road in rural Chatsworth.
Deputies with the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office arrived at the scene to find a pickup truck had collided with a parked semi-tractor that was hauling a flatbed trailer. The truck drove onto the flatbed and struck construction equipment.
Stadler was later pronounced dead at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. The circumstances surrounding his injuries or a toxicology report are still under investigation.
