Fatal Pawhuska pedestrian collision death of Wendy Griggs – Obituary.

Wendy Griggs, a 47-year-old resident of Hominy, Oklahoma, was tragically killed in a pedestrian accident on Thursday night, December 19, 2024. The incident occurred at approximately 10:17 p.m. on Lynn Road near E 21st Street, on the northern outskirts of Pawhuska.

 

Griggs was struck by a 2007 Honda Accord driven by a 17-year-old male from Pawhuska. She was transported to Pawhuska Hospital, where medical staff pronounced her deceased due to the injuries she sustained.

 

The teenage driver was reportedly unharmed and was described as being in “apparently normal” condition. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the collision to determine its cause. Further updates are expected as the investigation proceeds.
