Matthew Dualan and Roger Brown die in fatal Clifton car crash
Fatal Clifton car crash deaths of Matthew Dualan and Roger Brown – Obituary.
Matthew Dualan, 41, of Clifton, and Roger Brown, 85, of Otis, lost their lives in a tragic head-on collision Wednesday morning, December 18, 2024, on Rebel Hill Road, also known as Route 180, in Clifton.
Authorities report that the crash occurred around 10:00 a.m. when a GMC Yukon, driven by Dualan, was traveling south and crossed the center line on a curve at high speed. The vehicle collided with a Honda CRV driven by Brown. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office has stated that preliminary findings suggest speed and reckless driving contributed to the incident. The crash remains under investigation.
