Teofilo Ivan Granada dies in fatal Webb County car crash

Fatal Webb County car crash death of Teofilo Ivan Granada – Obituary.

A tragic head-on collision claimed the lives of two individuals on Interstate 35 near mile marker 24 in Webb County on Sunday, December 22, 2024. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), the incident occurred around 8 p.m., approximately 11 miles north of Laredo.

 

The crash involved a black 2012 Audi SUV traveling southbound in the northbound lanes and a gray 2014 Mazda heading northbound. The vehicles collided head-on, resulting in the death of both drivers.

 

Teofilo Ivan Granada, 32, the driver of the Mazda, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Audi, Carlos Andres Jaime, 28, succumbed to his injuries later at a hospital in Laredo.

 

Authorities are continuing their investigation into the cause of the collision.
