Katlyn Folsom dies in fatal Doniphan County, Kansas head-on crash
Fatal Doniphan County crash death of Katlyn Folsom – Obituary.
Katlyn Folsom, a 22-year-old woman from Troy, Kansas, tragically lost her life in a head-on collision on Christmas Day. The accident occurred at 8:41 a.m. along Kansas Highway 7 in Doniphan County.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2012 Toyota Tundra traveling north crossed the center line for reasons still under investigation and collided head-on with a 2002 Chevy Suburban traveling south. Folsom, a passenger in the Suburban, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Both drivers involved in the crash sustained minor injuries and were transported to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph for treatment.
The Kansas Highway Patrol continues to investigate the cause of the collision.
