Fatal Akron, Ohio shooting death of Shilo Valentino Smith – Obituary
Early Sunday morning, 24-year-old Shilo Valentino Smith of Green was fatally shot on the 1900 block of Garden Court in Akron. The Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office identified Smith as the victim.
According to police, Smith and another individual reportedly knocked on the door of a residence. Once the door was opened, the pair forced their way inside, and Smith began assaulting a man in the home.
During the struggle, a 19-year-old resident fired a weapon, striking Smith.
