Fatal North Charleston, South Carolina shooting death of Adrienne Seay – Obituary
Adrienne Seay, 38, of Ladson, her father John F. Childs, 68, of Mount Pleasant, and her brother John A. Childs, 36, of Boston, Massachusetts, were tragically killed in a shooting on Friday night at the Aberly Apartment Homes on Patriot Boulevard in North Charleston.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire around 4:41 p.m. Upon entering the apartment, police discovered the three victims deceased. Witnesses identified a suspect, who later exited a residence carrying a child. The suspect placed the child down before fatally shooting himself. The child was unharmed.
Autopsies for the victims will be conducted at the Medical University of South Carolina. Investigations into the incident, believed to stem from a domestic dispute, are ongoing by the North Charleston Police Department and the Dorchester County Coroner’s Office.
