A deadly explosion at a Tyson Foods plant has claimed the life of 61-year-old Bajarma Batozhatov, the wife of truck driver Tcyden Batozhatov. The explosion occurred Thursday night while Bajarma was resting in the sleeper berth of a truck parked at the plant. Tcyden was inside the building during the incident but was unharmed.
Bajarma’s body was not recovered until Friday afternoon, as heavy machinery was needed to move debris from the blast. An autopsy is scheduled for December 29th to determine her exact cause of death. The couple, who are based out of Las Vegas, Nevada, were reported to be in the area for work at the time of the explosion.
