Fatal Altadena shooting death of Beverly Green Harmon and Wendell Harmon – Obituary
Authorities have identified the husband and wife found shot to death inside their Altadena home on December 20. Beverly Green Harmon, 58, and her husband, Wendell Harmon, 62, both died from multiple gunshot wounds. Their bodies were discovered by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies after they responded to a welfare check request on the 700 block of West Sacramento Street.
At this time, the motive for the shooting remains unclear, and no arrests have been made. The couple’s family held a candlelight vigil in their honor, expressing their grief and disbelief over the tragedy. Wendell Harmon worked for Pasadena’s Parks and Recreation Department, while Beverly had a long career in finance before starting a home health aide business. The couple had been married for over 30 years. Their loved ones described them as a “power couple” and expressed their sorrow over their untimely deaths.
