Fatal New Albany shooting death of Jalen Baker – Obituary
Jalen Baker, 23, from Jeffersonville, tragically passed away from gunshot wounds following a shooting outside the StoneCrest Apartments in New Albany on Tuesday night.
Police responded to reports of gunfire at around 9:30 p.m. at 4723 Grant Line Road, located near IU Southeast and Grant Line Elementary School.
Baker was found outside the apartment complex with multiple gunshot wounds and was rushed to Baptist Floyd Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The investigation is ongoing, and no suspects have been arrested at this time.
