Fatal Farrow Road hit-and-run death of John Corbett – Obituary
John Corbett, 71, of Columbia, was identified as the victim of a fatal hit-and-run accident that occurred on Thursday evening near the Cheap Way gas station on Farrow Road.
The incident took place around 6 p.m. when Corbett was struck by a burgundy truck, which was possibly a 2013-2017 Ford F150, with a missing driver’s side hubcap and dark tinted windows.
The driver fled the scene, and police are actively searching for the vehicle involved. Surveillance images have been released, and authorities are urging anyone with information to contact Crimestoppers.
