Michael Yung, a 26-year-old man from Lorton, was tragically killed in a crash near Fair Lakes on Friday evening. Yung was riding his 2024 BMW motorcycle north on West Ox Road when he collided with a 2021 GMC SUV that was turning left onto Piney Branch Road. The impact led to Yung’s death at the scene.
The SUV’s passenger was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Police have ruled out alcohol as a factor and are investigating the role of speed in the crash.
