A 27-year-old man, identified as Tarone Lamont Bland from Woodbridge, was found deceased early on Saturday morning near an Interstate 95 ramp in Woodbridge. Authorities were alerted at 1:18 a.m. when a passing motorist discovered an unconscious man lying in the roadway at the intersection of Dale Boulevard and the northbound I-95 ramp. The driver called emergency services, and Bland was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
It is still unclear whether Bland was struck by a vehicle or suffered injuries in another incident. The cause of his death remains undetermined as the state medical examiner conducts an autopsy. Police are asking anyone who witnessed the event to come forward and assist with the investigation.
