Fatal Danbury Christmas Eve crash death of Felix Saquinaula – Obituary
Felix Saquinaula, a 56-year-old resident of Danbury, has been identified as the man who tragically died after being struck by a vehicle on Christmas Eve. The incident occurred around 9:15 p.m. as Saquinaula was walking near Main and Liberty Streets in Danbury.
Paramedics rushed him to Danbury Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the vehicle that hit Saquinaula remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, according to Danbury police. Authorities are continuing to probe the circumstances of the crash and are asking anyone with information to contact Danbury Police.
Saquinaula’s funeral was held on December 30 at St. Peter Church in Danbury. The investigation is ongoing.
