Fatal Danbury pedestrian crash death of Felix Saquinaula – Obituary
Felix Saquinaula, 52, of Danbury, Connecticut, was tragically killed in a car versus pedestrian collision on Christmas Eve. The accident occurred around 9:15 p.m. on Main Street near Liberty Street.
According to Danbury police spokesperson Erin Henry, Saquinaula was struck by a vehicle while walking in the area. Emergency responders transported him to the hospital, but he later succumbed to his injuries. The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Saquinaula, originally from Sigsig, Ecuador, was remembered in his obituary for his life and legacy. His funeral was scheduled for Monday.
The police have not released additional details about the circumstances of the crash as the investigation continues.
