A single-vehicle motorcycle crash on Sunday evening in Hart County resulted in the death of 52-year-old Joseph Rudolph Pruett, a local resident. The Georgia State Patrol (GSP) reported that the accident occurred around 6:15 p.m. on New Prospect Road.
According to the GSP, Pruett was riding a 2003 Harley Davidson motorcycle northbound on New Prospect Road when he lost control and failed to stay in his lane. The motorcycle overturned and came to a stop in the southbound lane. Pruett was pronounced dead at the scene.
No passengers were on the motorcycle at the time, and no other vehicles were involved in the crash. The Georgia State Patrol is continuing its investigation into the cause of the accident.
