Magarret Brion Smith, 35, and his 14-year-old son, Karter Smith, tragically lost their lives on Monday in a car accident in Thomas County, Georgia. Their Tesla veered off the northbound lane of Highway 35, hitting a pecan tree and igniting a fire.
The Georgia State Patrol reported that the vehicle left the right side of the roadway and entered a nearby pecan orchard before the collision. Both individuals were declared dead at the scene.
This heartbreaking incident has left the local community mourning the loss of the father and son.
