Peter Hodge dies in fatal San Francisco shooting

Fatal San Francisco shooting death of Peter Hodge – Obituary

San Francisco police have unveiled body camera footage showing the events leading to the shooting of 50-year-old Peter Hodge. The incident occurred outside a Christian Dior store in Union Square, just hours after Hodge was involved in a chaotic car chase.

Authorities reported that Hodge drove his SUV onto a sidewalk during the pursuit, striking two women and an e-bike rider. Security footage helped police locate Hodge standing between the Giorgio Armani and Christian Dior stores, not far from the initial crash site.

Further details about the fatal encounter and investigation were shared during a virtual town hall by Mark Im, acting commander of the police department’s risk management division.
