Fatal Phoenix hit-and-run death of Ethan Jaaziel Felix – Obituary
Phoenix police have reported the death of Ethan Jaaziel Felix, a 35-year-old, who was intentionally struck by a car on Friday night near 16th Street and Thomas Road.
Officers responding to the scene found Felix gravely injured. He was transported to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities identified 38-year-old Miguel Preciado Jr. as the suspect in the incident. Preciado’s vehicle was located in a desert area near Tucson three days after the crash, with assistance from the Pima County Sheriff’s Office. Preciado was found several miles from his abandoned vehicle and was subsequently arrested on charges of first-degree murder and other felonies.
Phoenix Police have not yet released Preciado’s mugshot. The investigation remains ongoing.
