The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) has identified 32-year-old Ilsi Patterson of George Town as the victim of a deadly accident that occurred on the Esterly Tibbetts Highway on December 26th.
The collision, which happened near Canal Point Drive, involved a Honda that veered off the road, struck a tree, and burst into flames. A man who was also in the vehicle remains in critical but stable condition, while three others have been treated for injuries and released from the hospital.
RCIPS investigators are urging anyone with information about the crash, particularly those who assisted at the scene, to come forward. Eyewitness accounts are considered crucial to the ongoing investigation.
