The Bexar County Medical Examiner has identified 17-year-old Brison Jackson as the victim of a deadly shooting that occurred on the evening of December 30. His death has been ruled a homicide.
Authorities reported that the incident took place around 7 p.m. at Travel America near Interstate 10 and Foster Road. Jackson was shot multiple times with several different weapons in what investigators suspect was a deliberate attack.
After being struck, Jackson’s vehicle rolled across the parking lot and eventually collided with a fence. At the scene, officers recovered approximately 60 shell casings, evidence of the violent nature of the assault.
Police disclosed that Jackson was also armed, though no further details were provided about his weapon. Investigators currently have no suspect descriptions, but they believe three vehicles were involved in the incident.
The case remains under active investigation as authorities work to uncover more information about the individuals responsible.
