Fatal Lewistown grocery store shooting death of Levi Blair – Obituary
The Fulton County Coroner has identified 39-year-old Levi Blair of Canton as the victim of a fatal shooting Tuesday night at the County Market on South Main Street in Lewistown. His death has been classified as a homicide.
The incident occurred shortly before 7:00 p.m., when deputies were dispatched to reports of an adult male with a gunshot wound to the head. Blair was transported to Graham Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday, according to Coroner Austin Rhodes.
Authorities have charged 33-year-old Nicholas Pratt of Ipava with First Degree Murder and multiple other offenses in connection to the incident.
The case is under active investigation by the Lewistown Police Department, Fulton County Sheriff’s and Coroner’s Offices, and the Illinois State Police.
