Michael Mills, a 35-year-old resident of Copiague, tragically passed away in a single-vehicle crash at Jones Beach State Park on New Year’s Day.
The accident occurred around 8:30 p.m. when Mills lost control of his vehicle near the traffic circle at the park’s central mall. He was the sole occupant of the car, according to state police.
