Summer Tatiana Roney, 30, was identified as the woman discovered deceased in a car parked at a Bluffdale gas station on Tuesday. The driver, Jacob Holt Johnson, 40, who was her estranged boyfriend, was apprehended and is under investigation for murder.
According to authorities, Roney’s body was located in the backseat of Johnson’s car during a DUI investigation at a 7-Eleven on Redwood Road. Police documents revealed she suffered significant injuries indicative of homicide. Johnson reportedly admitted to having had a conflict with Roney and acknowledged placing her body in the vehicle, though he refrained from providing additional details.
