Fatal Broken Arrow discovery of Eugene Kozuk – Obituary
Eugene Kozuk, 46, of Broken Arrow, was confirmed dead after human remains discovered last week were identified as his. Kozuk had been missing since May 2024, when he was last seen leaving his home during the overnight hours of May 24. His disappearance had sparked a significant search effort within the community.
The remains were located on December 29, 2024, in a creek bed in the 13400 block of East 130th Street South.
The Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office and Broken Arrow police responded to the scene, where clothing found nearby matched what Kozuk had been wearing when he went missing.
The Oklahoma Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed the remains as Kozuk’s. Authorities have stated there is no indication of foul play in his death.
